Star Sighting?
Sunday, August 24, 2008, 19:15 - Blurbs
Walking down Broadway today toward my office I saw someone walking with two other hipster looking dudes who looked exactly like Omar Rodriguez Lopez. Could it have been my first NYC star sighting?

Quote of the day, due to Bertrand Russell:

Purpose is a concept which is scientifically useless.

Song title of the day, due to Dakota / Dakota:

Don't Pee In My Bed And Tell Me That It's Raining.

Gitaarspelende Jongen

I'm sitting in my room at my desk with the window open, and these kids who're around 10 years old just came up to me and said "hi" through the window. Then one of them said "he plays really good guitar." That kid is now cool. :)

Not Worth Posting
Sunday, August 26, 2007, 22:40 - Blurbs
I changed my Gmail chat to display 20 entries instead of ten, and now I have 2 logged-in friends and 18 logged-out friends displayed. Somehow, that's depressing. Ok, I'm going to bed.

I see rats almost every day running around on the subway tracks.

QOTSA
Sunday, June 17, 2007, 10:00 - Blurbs
I have to admit it - I quite like the new QOTSA album. I warmed up to it really fast, but I guess any album with song titles pointing to strange time signatures is likely to appeal to me.

Phrases of the Day
Thursday, June 14, 2007, 12:19 - Blurbs
Two of them:

1. "The City." I've noticed that in areas in and surrounding a major city, people use the term "the city" to refer to that city. Seems a bit pretentious until you get used to it usually.

2. "Syntactic Sugar." I just like this one.
